Through the eyes of a dog

Hi my name is Gizmo and today is my birthday I'm turning 1. First my owner April and me went to go get my cake, but it wasn't any ordinary cake it's made of dog food! All my friends and family are coming. At 4 it was finally time for my party first to come was my mommy I was so excited to see her I couldn't stop jumping around. We had the pool and snacks for everyone. Next to come was my friends and we played tag and they kept picking on me. My legs are short so I couldn't run fast enough to catch them. Then I got tired and decided to swim. I don't mean to brag, but I'm expert at swimming. Then April called for us to come and sing happy birthday to me and we dug into the cake after it was delicious. After I opened my presents and I got a dog toy, new bed, and some nice smelling shampoo. I told everyone to leave after that, because I 'm tired. I kissed them all goodbye and ran too April and started giving her kisses all over her face. She told me it was time for a bath and I was so excited, because I get to use my new shampoo. After I was planning on playing, but the bath made me really tired so I got on my new bed and went to sleep thanking April once again for the best birthday ever.
